On Monday Te Ngahere went out to the field to play some touch, when we got
out there we saw two people, Henry and Jason, who was a
BOIC( Bay Of Island College) student. Then Henry asked someone to volunteer
to do stretching routines, we did about 8 different stretches, we do this
because there is a smaller chance of us pulling a muscle. Then we got into
groups of 3-4 and practised passing, we did that for about 10 minutes.
After we had done that we practised how to play the ball when you get
touched for about the same amount of time, we did this in the same groups.
Then we finally got to play a game of touch. When our team got the ball we
were trying to score a try but the other team made a huge chain across the
score line, so the scores were 0-0, other than getting no scores at all I still
really enjoyed playing rugby league. What I found hard was trying to throw
the ball properly and trying to remember who was on our team.
