Procedural text

In Te Maunga we have been doing Procedural writing about Beeswax wraps, Bird balls & Pikelets. Before we did the Procedure we had to experience it first, the one that I mostly enjoyed doing was making the Pikelets, I enjoyed making the pikelets because we all got a turn at doing something & we got to pour it into the pan, at the end we got to eat them. I also had fun doing the beeswax wraps because we could draw whatever we wanted on the fabric & it only take 30 seconds or less to dry & now I can wrap up my food without using Glad wrap, but the smell was very strong

Flubber

In Te Maunga we made Flubber, we made the flubber out of PVA glue, Borax, Liquid dye & Water. We doubled the recipe so we used 1 cup & a ½ of PVA glue, 1 cup of water & 4 Teaspoons of Borax. We all had a turn of mixing or doing something, sadly it didn’t turn out so AJ, Kaitlin, Zara & me made another small batch, because that also didn’t work Kaitlin took it home.
