Going to Waitangi

On Thursday Friday the Te Ngahere year 6’s went to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds for the day. On the first day the bus arrived 40 minutes late, so we didn’t get as much time to do everything. First we had a little talk about what we were going to do after that we had lunch, then we had a play around with everything, We split in half, one half of us had a tutu & play around with heaps of cool stuff, while the other half went outside & took heaps of photos of the museum, native trees & birds, using Smart-phones. The first thing I did was have a play around with heaps of cool things, we went on heaps of apps, like Sculpt GL, Paint 3D, Tinkercad, VR, Green screen, Stop motion & coding robots. Next we swapped over & we got to go & see the museum & take lots of amazing photos. We took photos of things like the Treaty of Waitangi & the iron chestplate that they used in the war in the 1840’s, that the british started. Next we went outside & took photos of heaps of native trees & birds. After that we went back inside and had a little talk about what we were going to do the next day, then the bus arrived so we went back to school. The next day started off about the same, except we were combining all of the apps into virtual reality. After that we ate our morning-tea & then we made ourselves in paint 3D, that took a long time, so then we had lunch. After that the bus came & we went back to school after we said goodbye. I enjoyed going to Waitangi because we did heaps of cool stuff, I can’t wait until we go again.
